Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Update – June 2019

The Eureka Union School District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) went through an extensive revision process through stakeholder input and suggestions. Meetings at each school site welcomed the school's staff and parents to collect input on the revised goals for the 2019-20 LCAP.  A meeting of all stakeholder groups took place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 to collect additional feedback prior to presenting to the Board of Trustees. The first presentation of the draft LCAP for review and comment was held in conjunction with the May 14, 2019 Meeting of the Board of Trustees, with a second presentation of the draft LCAP held in conjunction with the June 4, 2019 Board Meeting.  At the June 25, 2019 Board Meeting, the Official Public Hearing took place in which LCAP revisions were presented for additional public comment and input.  All materials that were used in the review by all groups and in the Public Hearing were included in the Board Packet for the May 14, June 4 and June 25 meetings.  After an extensive stakeholder engagement process and four opportunities for the public to provide input the Board of Trustees approved the LCAP on June 27, 2019.
