We are pleased to report that our District (Grades TK-8) Stakeholder Input Meeting on February 4th was extremely successful and productive.  Priorities were developed by team members who served on the Division teams and it was determined that the pre-scheduled February 27th meeting would not be necessary.  At the February 11th meeting of the Board of Trustees, a report was provided which included a review of the "Priorities" that were established by the District team.  All materials that were reviewed and evaluated by all groups were included in the Board Packet for the February 11th meeting.  Please visit the following link for detailed information.   School Board Meeting Packet

The Eureka Leadership Team will use the input from each of our stakeholder teams to develop the draft LCAP document for further review later this Spring.   Invitations to engage our stakeholders to review the draft document and to provide input, consultation and review will be sent to participants of each of groups in advance of our scheduled review sessions. Each session has been scheduled as follows and will take place in the Board Room at the District Office on Wednesday, April 30:
  • Parent Advisory Committee - 9:30 - 10:15am
  • English Learner Parent Advisory Committee - 10:15- 11:00am
  • Collective Bargaining Groups including both classified and certificated staff - 11:00 - 5:15pm
To ensure that all community members have the opportunity to be engaged and involved, the Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing regarding the LCAP at the meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 7:00pm.  We look forward to your input and participation in this new process.

We look forward to the ongoing process of engaging our community with the development of our goals for our students - continuing to enhance the outstanding educational opportunities for each and every student.  We embrace the concept of "Every Student - Every School - Every Day" as we develop our LCAP.
