Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Update - February, 2017Top of Page

On February 14, the Board  received a mid-year report from staff related to progress toward the five LCAP goals. The LCAP requirements describe the specific actions that will be taken to achieve the goals for all pupils and each subgroup identified in Education Code 52060-52077 including students with disabilities, for each of the eight state priorities as well as any locally identified priorities. The processes and timelines for ensuring the full engagement of all stakeholder groups began in the 2013-14 school year and continues in 2016-17. The report included an update related to the progress to date on the revision of the LCAP three year plan in addition to a report of progress toward the achievement to date of the 2016-17 LCAP goals.

The Board of Trustees will hold a Preliminary Public Hearing regarding the LCAP at the meeting on Tuesday, May 9 at 6:30pm and Monday, June 5 at 6:30pm.  We look forward to your input and participation in this new process.

This ongoing process of engaging our community with the development of our goals for our students - continuing to enhance the outstanding educational opportunities for each and every student is essential and valued.  We embrace the concept of "Every Student - Every School - Every Day" as we continue to revise and enhance our LCAP.
