The Eureka Union School District DRAFT Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) went through an extensive revision process through stakeholder input and suggestions. Meetings of all stakeholder groups took place on Wednesday, April 25, 2017 from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. The first Preliminary Public Hearing for review and comment was held in conjunction with the May 9, 2017 Meeting of the Board of Trustees, with the second Preliminary Public Hearing held in conjunction with the June 5, 2017 Board Meeting. At the June 27, 2017 Board Meeting, the Official Public Hearing will take place in which the final DRAFT LCAP will be presented for additional public comment and input.
As a requirement of the LCAP development process, the Superintendent is required to respond in writing to all comments and to provide the opportunity for the community to make such comments. As a result of the stakeholder meetings and the first and second Preliminary Public Hearings on May 9th and June 5th, the following comments were made. Responses are included with each comment.
