The Eureka Union School District serves Kindergarten through eighth grade students and special needs preschool students in Granite Bay and the eastern portion of Roseville in Placer County.   The rolling foothills, views of the Sierra Mountains, access to Folsom Lake, and proximity to Sacramento make the area a highly desirable place to live and work. 

Parent and community involvement in the schools is very high with strong involvement in Parent Teacher Clubs (PTC), the Eureka Schools Foundation (ESF), School Site Councils, District Advisory Committees, and other school and community groups.  Parents actively volunteer in the classroom and in school activities, including service as music, art, or science docents.  The District receives less federal and state funding than neighboring districts or most districts in California, but ESF, PTC and other groups raise over $400,000 per year to enhance District Programs.
