Please visit the Eureka Schools Foundation Website The Eureka Schools Foundation (ESF) boasts a
$1.9 million, 12-year-old commitment to parent-driven support of enrichment
programs throughout the Eureka Union School District. This commitment began
with the initial vision and support by the
Pioneer 100
members and their generous donations. Each year, more than 4000 students
from eight schools enjoy ESF-generated dollars earmarked for music, science,
art, computers, foreign language, athletics, and library programs.
As with any solid educational foundation, ESF’s success begins with the basics. With the building blocks of parent and community participation, successful events such as the Annual Fall Auction, Granite Bay Spring Home Tour, Foundation Cup Golf Tournament, United Way Donations, Annual Giving Campaign, and Corporate Sponsorship Program create a key fundraising basis. ESF allocates funds evenly to each school within the Eureka School District with the net profits from these community events and programs, and has even supplemented teacher salaries during the uncertain budget-cutting times we continue to face.
Thanks to the unwavering
commitment of family and corporate resources, our children know first hand
that reading, writing, and arithmetic go much further when complemented by
music, science, athletics and foreign language. Our Mission The Eureka Schools Foundation is a non-profit foundation that supports students in the Eureka Union School District with computers, library books, science kits, sports equipment and musical equipment. We accomplish this through events, donations, direct solicitation and the Endowment fund. Our bylaws provide that the funds are distributed “for the promotion of academic excellence in the Eureka Union School District.” |
