Maidu students recently set out on a Challenge 21 adventure to see what could be done to help the homeless in our area. Student Rachel Nimtz used her Challenge 21 skills of critical thinking and problem solving to come up with the idea of starting the "Help The Homeless Club". Rachel and the rest of her 3rd Grade class at Maidu then used their life and character skills to plan and set a goal of how much money to raise. After collaborating that recycling was the way to go, they set and soon exceeded their goal, raising $300 to benefit the homeless. Read more in the article below.
