Dear Parents and Guardians,
 
How are you all? How are you doing and how are your children and their summer vacation activities?
 
School is about to start in a few weeks! Exciting!
 
To get students ready for distance learning and our new EVA ( Eureka Virtual Academy) we are
Inviting the parents to come to our school to check out a school chromebook for online learning.
 
Chromebook Availability Information -
 
We are working hard to make available a chromebook for all our current enrolled students for the 2020-2021
School year.
 
Our current inventory of Chromebooks is a little below the level that we can supply to all our students.
We are working on that inorder to fulfill our 1 to 1 chromebook devices target.
 
As of now Tk, k and 1st grade students will checkout a Chromebook based on needs. As soon as we are
fully stocked to meet the 1:1 chromebooks program we will notify those who still need a Chromebook.
Due to the Covid virus situation - our Chromebooks supplier has informed us that the delivery of additional
chroombooks to our school will be near the end of September to the middle of October. We thank you
for all your understanding, support and co-operation in this matter.
 
There are a couple things we need your assistance to prepare for this Chromebook checkout event.
 
1). EUSD Chromebook Loner Program document -  please print a copy of this document and
bring it with you to complete the Chromebook checkout.

The Chromebook check out location is at the Eureka School next to the Eureka Union School District
Administration building. We will have signs to direct you to the checkout area.

2) EUSD Chromebook Protection Plan - The school district is providing a protection plan for
accidental damageand / repairs on the loaner chromebook. It is optional but we highly recommended it.
