According to state laws, all substitute, temporary, and probationary employees new to our district must be fingerprinted. Placer County Office of Education has established a "Fingerprint Consortium" for all Placer County Substitutes. PCOE may be contacted at (530) 889-5993 to make an appointment to pick up an application for Live Scan fingerprinting. The fee for the Dept. of Justice to process the search is $32.00. An additional fingerprinting fee of $10-$12 is required for processing at fingerprinting stations. You must also have a copy of your credential when you pick up the form. with a checklist for required items. The documents are in Adobe Acrobat

Please remove pages intended for your information and attach any that are requested. PLEASE NOTE, AN INCOMPLETE PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Who to call to get testing information/dates for taking the CBEST test: You can call the California Basic Educational Skills Test department to obtain information about bulletins, registration, testing dates and fees. This is a 24 hour automated answering service. If you need to talk with someone, you must call between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday Friday.
