Welcome to our online enrollment and registration process. The online format is completed through the PowerSchool Registration interface.
To register a student for the first time in the Eureka Union School District, please use the link below to access our online registration process.

Before the start of each school year, all families are required to review and update their student's information by filling out required elements such as information of current health issues and contact data to be used in case of emergencies. Families will receive an email from PowerSchool Registration which will provide directions on accessing the active Annual Student Information Update link within your PowerSchool Parent Portal account. If you do not already have an account, this email will also provide you with the necessary access code to securely create one.

2020-2021 Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten InformationTop of Page


If your child will turn 5 years old between September 2 and December 2, he or she is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten enrollment. Students who are enrolled in TK will proceed to Kindergarten the following year.
If your child turns 5 between December 3 and December 31, please complete the online registration as he or she is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if space allows.
If your child will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, he or she is eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.
In addition to completing the appropriate New Student Registration procedures outlined below, you will be required to provide the following documentation.
  1. Report of Health Examination for School Entry Form (CHDP) - This is a requirement for 1st grade, but we provide it for incoming Kindergarten students because it is valid for up to 18 months prior to entering 1st grade. Please be advised for the 2020-2021 school year that the physical examination must be completed after February 2019 in order to comply with this requirement. This form must be completed by an authorized medical provider, signed, and stamped.
  2. Oral Health Assessment Form - Must be completed and signed (or stamped) by a dentist prior to May 31st of the student's first year in a California public school.

Oakhills Tours will be held on: February 19, February 26….starting at 9:45 AM

Greenhills Tours will be held on: February 12, February 26….scheduled from 9:00–10:00 AM

Maidu Tours will be held on: February 11, February 25….times for TK/K are from 10:30 – 11:00 AM and 1st – 3rd grades are from 10:00 – 10:30 AM






Parent Information Nights

This is an opportunity to learn more about the programs offered as well as to meet school staff.

Greenhills Parent Information Night will be held on February 25th, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the multipurpose room.

Maidu Parent Information Night will be held on March 3rd, from 6:00-6:45 PM

New Student Living Within EUSD Boundaries

Open enrollment for new student registration for the 2020-21 school year will begin on February 5, 2020.
To register your student for the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the following steps:
  • Click HERE to find your EUSD School of Residence. (If you do not reside in the EUSD Boundaries, click on the "Interdistrict New Student Registration" tab above for proper enrollment procedures.)
  • You are required to provide the following documents to your school of RESIDENCE (or to your REQUESTED school if you are wanting to attend a different school AND you must also complete the online 2020-2021 Intradistrict Attendance Agreement):
    • Child's Original Birth Certificate
    • Proof of Residency: (One of the following.) Documentation must show the parent'(s) or legal guardian'(s) name and current address.
      • Most current: utility bill (PG&E, SMUD, garbage, Home Telephone Bill (cellular bill is not acceptable)), rental agreement or copy of purchase agreement, letter from Social Services verifying residency. Note: reoccurring documents must be current- within the past 30 days.
    • Child's Current Immunization Records: 
      • All required immunization must be up to date prior to the student starting school.

Your registration process is not considered complete until all 3 steps outlined above are complete.
Intradistrict Attendance Agreements will be reviewed after the deadline in April. You will receive an approval or denial notification email from PowerSchool Registration or from the school site office directly.

New Interdistrict Student Registration

Open Enrollment for new student registration for the 2020-2021 school year opens on February 5, 2020. For students that do not reside within the EUSD boundaries, please complete the following steps to complete your Interdistrict Request.
  1. Contact your  School District of Residence to obtain an Interdistrict Transfer Request and complete their form.
    • A designee of your School District of Residence will sign and date the release and mail the form to the Eureka Union School District.
    • Once received by EUSD, the form is date stamped.
    • Acceptance into the Eureka Union School District is based on space availability. You will be notified of your child's acceptance or put onto our waiting list for the next school year after the April Interdistrict Transfer Request deadline.
  2. Click HERE to complete the online New Student Registration form. 
  3. Bring the following documents to your requested school:
    • Child's Original Birth Certificate
    • Child's current Immunization Records 
      •  All required immunizations must be up to date prior to the student starting school.
    • Child's Academic Transcript (including current grades), Attendance Report, and Disciplinary Record (from school of current or most recent enrollment)
Your online registration process is not considered complete until you have completed steps 1-3 outlined above.
Interdistrict Transfer Requests will be reviewed after the Interdistrict Application deadline in April. You will receive an approval or denial notification from the Eureka Union School district in the mail.
Students enrolled for the 2020-2021 school year will receive an Annual Student Information Update notification that will allow you to enter further required information for the start of the new school year.
All Interdistrict Transfer Requests must be renewed annually!
