Eureka Union School District Goals
The LCAP document includes three (3) goal areas which frame the priorities for our continual improvement. Our Board of Trustees approved the LCAP along with our District Budget at the June 27th Board Meeting. The following are highlights of each goal area as we begin the 2019-20 school year:
GOAL 1 - EUSD will provide high quality classroom instruction and curriculum that promote college or career readiness with academic interventions to eliminate barriers to student success.
Expanded Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to achieve successful academic outcomes for all students
Differentiated program supports and instructional materials (textbooks, supplies, equipment, & learning environment enhancements)
Targeted and Research-based Professional Development
Comprehensive, balanced student assessments
GOAL 2 - EUSD will support the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of all students by promoting prosocial behavior, teaching coping and decision-making skills, and modeling positive relationships.
Improve Physical Education programs for all students

Attendance and Chronic Absenteeism
GOAL 3 - EUSD will ensure all school sites have safe, welcoming, and inclusive climates for all students and their families, so that all students have opportunities to be successful.
