Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year
Dear Eureka Union Families,
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I am excited to welcome you to another year of learning, growth, and opportunity.
As I begin my first full school year as Superintendent, I continue to be inspired by our exceptional students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Since joining the district this spring, I have had the opportunity to visit each of our schools and meet many members of our community. One thing has become abundantly clear: our schools are strengthened by dedicated staff, engaged families, and a community that values education and shares a commitment to helping every child succeed. I am grateful to be part of this remarkable community and look forward to all we will accomplish together this year.
Like so many of our families, our teachers, support staff, and administrators are excited for the start of a new school year and the opportunities it brings. As we prepare to welcome students back, please watch for important communications regarding Aeries, our new student information system. Families will receive information about accessing the Aeries Parent Portal and completing the Annual Data Confirmation process, including verifying emergency contacts and reviewing annual notifications. Completing this process before school begins helps ensure we have the information needed to support your child throughout the year.
A strong partnership between home and school is one of the greatest contributors to student success. Thank you for the trust you place in us and for the many ways you support your child's learning. I also want to thank the Eureka Schools Foundation (ESF), a volunteer-led organization made up of dedicated parents who raise funds to support enrichment programs that benefit all students. Thanks to ESF, our district can continue offering valuable programs such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), vocal and instrumental music, and athletics. Thank you for your partnership and for entrusting us with your children each day. I wish your family a wonderful start to the school year and look forward to seeing our students back on campus.
